In October 2024, Sasha was invited to be part of the Día del Sol Fashion Show in Carlsbad, California, an event benefiting the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of San Diego. As part of her participation, Sasha donated a custom-painted denim jacket for the live auction, helping to raise funds for her nonprofit.
She also designed and gifted a custom jacket to actor RJ Mitte, who tried it on at the event and found it to be a perfect fit. RJ Mitte, best known for his role in Breaking Bad, was a guest speaker at the event, where he highlighted the importance of inclusion and empowerment for individuals with disabilities.
In addition, Sasha customized two special jackets for two young girls living with cerebral palsy, and together, they took to the runway in a meaningful moment before the main fashion show, raising awareness for adaptive fashion and art therapy.
For her involvement, Sasha’s nonprofit received a generous donation, bringing the total funds raised to $2,000 in support of The Sasha Project LA and its mission to provide art therapy for children.
